About the Role

We are currently looking for a talented Dealer Fixed Income - Treasury professional to join our vibrant treasury team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing trading strategies, managing securities blotters, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Execute trading activities and meet the bank's market-making obligations as a PDMM trading fixed income securities.
- Achieve individual revenue targets and budgets while contributing effectively to overall team goals.
- Ensure strict compliance with all prudential, statutory requirements, and internal bank policies.
- Maintain a continuous presence in the market and meet defined trading benchmarks and metrics.
- Gather and disseminate vital market data, originate trade ideas, and spot potential revenue opportunities.
- Build a strong market presence and nurture relationships with regulatory agencies and key stakeholders.
- Manage securities blotters, trading positions, and prepare performance and variance analysis reports.
- Liaise seamlessly with front, middle, and back-office teams to resolve reconciliation issues and support Treasury Sales.
- First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably business-related. Professional qualifications such as CFA or ICAN are highly desirable.
- 1 to 10 years of relevant treasury experience within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of fixed income securities, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
