About the Role
Crown Interactive is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our dynamic technology team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will play a vital role in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our enterprise, SaaS, and government digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, patch, and maintain robust database management systems across production and development environments.
- Monitor database performance, perform query optimization, and resolve complex bottlenecks and deadlocks.
- Develop, test, and maintain automated backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability procedures.
- Implement stringent database security controls, access management, and compliance measures.
- Collaborate with software engineers and solution architects on database design, schema changes, and deployments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of hands-on database administration experience in enterprise or SaaS environments.
- Strong expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and database security practices.
