About the Role
Stretchit Concept Limited is a dynamic and growing organization looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our innovative IT team in Nigeria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, security, and reliability of our network infrastructure across all company sites. You will own the network layer end-to-end, working closely with our Security Operations Centre (SOC) team to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring a secure and high-performing digital environment for our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, monitor, and maintain core and site-level network infrastructure to guarantee consistent uptime and performance.
- Collaborate directly with the SOC team to analyze Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and coordinate timely patching.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot wireless Access Points to ensure reliable connectivity across all locations.
- Manage IP addressing schemes, VLAN segmentation, and routing policies to optimize traffic and security.
- Configure and maintain Sophos Firewalls, managing rules, VPNs, and security policies across multiple office buildings.
- Support the network infrastructure for CCTV and surveillance systems to maintain operational security.
- Maintain comprehensive network diagrams, IP/VLAN registers, and configuration documentation.
- Respond promptly to network incidents, investigating connectivity issues and escalating to the Technical Lead when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in network administration within multi-site environments.
- Solid working knowledge of Sophos Firewall administration or equivalent enterprise firewall platforms.
- Strong understanding of VLANs, IP subnetting, and wireless Access Point management.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts and experience working alongside a SOC or security team.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Sophos certifications will be a strong advantage.
