About the Role
Stretchit Concept Limited is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our growing IT team in Nigeria. In this full-time role, you will serve as the first line of technical support, ensuring the seamless operation of end-user hardware, operating systems, and print infrastructure while maintaining the absolute integrity of our IT asset register.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first- and second-line technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals, minimizing user downtime through rapid fault diagnosis and repair.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventory, overseeing procurement intake, tagging, assignment tracking, and retirement records.
- Plan and execute operating system upgrades, software patches, and system re-imaging across the company device fleet.
- Administer print servers, network printers, and multifunction printers, resolving queue, driver, and scan-to-email issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive support ticket logs and deliver regular status reports to the Technical Lead.
- Respond proactively to hardware and system-level incidents, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on professional experience in system administration or IT hardware support.
- Proven expertise in IT asset management and physical tagging processes.
- Solid working knowledge of Windows or Linux system administration, imaging, and patch management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication skills to support non-technical staff effectively.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or ITIL Foundation are a distinct advantage.
