About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a leader in the Nigerian manufacturing and agricultural landscape, is seeking a diligent and analytical Data Tracking Officer for its subsidiary, Golden Transport Company. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our extensive supply chain network by overseeing fleet tracking, driver compliance, and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and track truck and driver activities in real-time using advanced GPS tracking systems.
- Analyze tracking data and generate comprehensive reports to enhance fleet efficiency, utilization, and turnaround time (TAT).
- Coordinate the daily activities of Data Tracking Operators.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot vehicle tracking devices to ensure zero downtime.
- Identify, escalate, and follow up on driver policy violations to guarantee safety and regulatory compliance.
- Manage tracking service accounts and liaise directly with network service providers.
- Monitor the validity of truck operating documents, including vehicle licenses and hackney permits, advising management on timely renewals.
- Support strategic initiatives aimed at reducing road accidents and improving overall logistics performance.
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in data tracking, fleet monitoring, or transportation operations.
- Professional certifications in Logistics, Fleet Management, Transportation, or Data Analytics are a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in utilizing modern GPS tracking and fleet management software.
