About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by providing comprehensive payment, banking, credit, and business management tools. We are currently looking for a diligent Data Entry Officer based in Idemili North, Anambra, to ensure customer accounts, product catalogs, inventory records, and pricing data are meticulously entered and maintained within our Moniebook platform. In this role, you will work closely with Onboarding Specialists and Account Managers to guarantee clean data from day one, enabling fast go-lives and a superior experience for every retail customer.
Key Responsibilities- Input, update, and maintain accurate merchant data, including product catalogues, SKUs, pricing, inventory levels, and customer profiles.
- Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files while validating formats and completeness before uploading.
- Prepare merchant accounts ahead of onboarding by populating required product and configuration data within agreed timelines.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to identify and correct errors, duplicates, or outdated records across CRM and POS backends.
- Fulfill ad-hoc data requests and resolve missing customer information to prevent onboarding delays.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in data entry, data operations, or a similar role within fintech, SaaS, or retail tech.
- Must have completed the NYSC program or possess a valid exemption/exclusion certificate.
- Must be based in Idemili North, Anambra State.
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy across large data volumes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including data cleaning, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms or POS and back-office SaaS tools.
