Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Data Analytics Instructor to join our esteemed faculty. Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive lectures, tutorials, and practical hands-on training in data analytics, data visualization, and statistical modeling.
- Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and learning materials in line with current industry standards and academic best practices.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, examinations, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous learning.
- Mentor and guide students on academic progress, research projects, and career paths within the data science and analytics ecosystem.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development committees, and academic events organized by the university.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in data analytics.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field (Master's or Ph.D. is an added advantage).
- Proven teaching, training, or mentoring experience in data analytics or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in industry-standard data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse learners.
