The Katsina State Government is seeking a talented and driven Data Analyst to join our esteemed civil service on Grade Level 08 (GL 08). Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets from various state ministries and agencies to support policy formulation.
- Design and develop comprehensive dashboards, reports, and visual representations of data trends for executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to identify key data requirements and metric tracking for public projects.
- Maintain data integrity, manage database systems, and ensure strict compliance with state data security and privacy policies.
- Conduct predictive modeling and statistical analyses to optimize resource allocation across critical sectors like agriculture and urban development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Statistics, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), or Economics from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Must possess a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
- Must be an indigene of Katsina State.
- Must be between 18 and 49 years of age.
- Must successfully pass the mandatory merit-based recruitment test to advance in the selection process.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, statistical software, and database management systems.
