About the Role
Emmanuel Bakeries Limited, a leading FMCG distributor in Kogi State with over 11 years of industry excellence, is seeking a talented and analytical Data Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming complex data into actionable insights, helping our management team optimize sales, inventory, and overall operational efficiency across our extensive distribution network.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, validate, and organize business data from various departments and external sources.
- Analyse sales, customer, inventory, operational, financial, and employee-related data to uncover actionable trends.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support strategic business objectives.
- Develop dynamic dashboards and performance reports for executive management.
- Track sales performance against established targets, identifying operational gaps and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and HR departments to obtain, validate, and streamline data processes.
- Automate recurring reports and develop meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance tracking.
- Present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Proven professional experience in data analysis or a closely related commercial position.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and advanced data visualization charts.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other modern data analysis tools is a strong added advantage.
- Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of raw data and translate them into strategic business insights.
