About the Role
Golden Bell's Multi Concepts (GBMC) Limited is a premier hospitality consulting and management firm committed to delivering exceptional experiences through operational excellence and innovative solutions. We are currently looking for a skilled and tech-savvy Software / IT Personnel to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless daily operations within our IT and control room department, and supporting our overarching business goals through reliable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the company hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime.
- Oversee control room operations, monitoring systems and responding swiftly to any technical alerts or discrepancies.
- Provide prompt and effective IT support to various departments, resolving software and hardware issues efficiently.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and digital assets.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, network configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with management to evaluate, recommend, and implement new technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Possess a relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in IT support, software maintenance, and network administration, preferably within the hospitality or service sector.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail when monitoring control room systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assist non-technical staff effectively.
- Familiarity with database management, modern software applications, and basic cybersecurity protocols.
- Residency in Port Harcourt or a willingness to commute to the Peter Odili location is required.
