About the Role
Golden Bell's Multi Concepts (GBMC) Limited is a premier hospitality consulting and management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional service standards and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Control Room Operator to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, managing emergency responses, and ensuring the safety and security of our premises and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems, alarms, and access control points continuously to ensure facility security.
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations, coordinating with relevant internal teams and local authorities.
- Maintain accurate logs of all daily control room activities, incident reports, and equipment malfunctions.
- Operate and monitor communication equipment, including two-way radios and emergency broadcast systems.
- Collaborate with the procurement and stores department to track and manage security equipment inventory.
- Ensure strict adherence to company safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Possess a minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Control Room Operator, security officer, or in a similar operational role within the hospitality or corporate sector.
- Excellent observational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in operating modern security systems, CCTV software, and computer applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and incident coordination.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
