About the Role
Salsam Technologies is a premier, indigenous-owned security and fleet management company with over a decade of industry expertise. We are currently looking for a dynamic and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Lagos. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between our valued clients and our technical operations, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery for our car tracking solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Resolve client complaints efficiently and escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate department.
- Guide new clients through the onboarding process, installation scheduling, and basic product navigation.
- Process various service requests, including subscription renewals, account upgrades, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of all customer interactions, queries, and resolutions.
- Conduct proactive follow-up calls to ensure customer issues have been satisfactorily resolved.
- Identify recurring service challenges and provide constructive feedback to management for operational improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales team by identifying cross-selling opportunities and routing qualified leads.
- Minimum of an OND in any relevant discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a customer service or client-facing support role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated patience, composure, and strong problem-solving abilities when handling difficult situations.
- Computer literacy with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Prior experience or familiarity with GPS tracking and navigation systems is a distinct advantage.
- Must reside within Amuwo-Odofin, Festac Town, or immediate environs.
