About the Role
A-Star Vanda Investment and Trading CO. Ltd, a leading group of companies specializing in the production of high-quality stationery products in Nigeria such as pencils, pens, markers, cellotapes, and craft tools, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about the company's extensive range of stationery products and services.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
- Follow up with customers to guarantee their needs and concerns are properly and timely addressed.
- Build and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Record and maintain accurate customer information, feedback, and interaction histories.
- Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in any relevant discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in customer service or a related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in local languages such as Yoruba and Igbo is strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-management abilities with a professional demeanor.
- Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern communication tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be available to resume work immediately in Nigeria.
