About the Role
HBM Nigeria Plc (Formerly Lafarge Africa Plc), a leading building solutions company, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Service & Planning Officer for our ReadyMix operations in Epe. In this vital role, you will serve as the central operational link between customers, sales, plants, logistics, and finance, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, superior customer service, and optimized asset utilization across our business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer orders from initial receipt through to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate daily production schedules with Plant Managers and Batchers to balance plant capacity with customer demand.
- Oversee delivery planning and dispatch coordination with logistics teams, monitoring progress and managing major pours.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer queries, proactively providing updates and resolving complaints.
- Coordinate delivery documentation, ticketing, order reconciliation, and support invoice preparation with the finance team.
- Track daily order fulfillment, monitor OTIF performance, and generate comprehensive operational reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in customer service, logistics, planning, or operations coordination.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, construction materials, logistics, or industrial operations is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and batching software.
