About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses, providing payment, banking, credit, and management tools. We are looking for a skilled Customer Experience Researcher to join our product organization, where you will conduct in-depth qualitative and mixed-methods research to uncover customer behaviours, motivations, and pain points.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute qualitative research methods including in-depth interviews, usability testing, ethnographic studies, and focus groups.
- Analyse qualitative and behavioural data to identify customer pain points and translate findings into prioritised, actionable recommendations.
- Track customer satisfaction metrics and initiate root-response research to address emerging issues proactively.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to integrate customer insights into the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the research community of practice by mentoring junior team members and improving research processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in customer research, UX research, or a related qualitative research role.
- Strong expertise in qualitative research methodologies, moderation, interviewing, and synthesis using tools like Dovetail, Qualtrics, or UserTesting.
- Familiarity with financial technology or banking products is highly preferred.
