About the Role

West African Exploration and Production Company (WAEP) is a leading indigenous energy firm headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to sustainable hydrocarbon exploration and production. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Crude Sales Officer to support our commercial marketing operations, ensure seamless lifting schedules, and drive value-focused execution across our crude oil portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support crude sales planning, nomination, lifting, and allocation activities in accordance with approved commercial arrangements.
  • Prepare and coordinate crude sales documentation, lifting schedules, nominations, invoices, and related records.
  • Monitor production availability, entitlement, cargo schedules, and lifting performance in collaboration with Operations and Finance.
  • Support the evaluation of crude pricing, differentials, market information, and commercial opportunities while reconciling lifted volumes and revenues.
  • Coordinate with buyers, terminals, marine teams, and joint-venture partners to ensure smooth lifting execution.
  • Monitor contractual obligations, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and promptly escalating potential deviations or scheduling conflicts.
  • Prepare periodic sales, lifting, revenue, and market performance reports for executive management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant commercial experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong expertise in crude oil sales, lifting operations, and commercial contract management.
  • Excellent pricing analysis, volume reconciliation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of West African energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and commercial risk management.
