About the Role
Elevation Professionals, a leading management consultancy and publishing firm, is recruiting on behalf of a client school for a passionate and knowledgeable CRS Teacher to join their academic team in Ipaja, Lagos. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to nurturing students' moral, spiritual, and academic development through effective teaching of Christian Religious Studies.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging CRS lessons in line with the school's curriculum
- Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials for various class levels
- Assess and evaluate students' academic performance through tests, assignments, and examinations
- Encourage moral values, discipline, and character development among students
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and school management to improve academic outcomes
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students on ethical and religious matters
- A minimum of NCE, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Christian Religious Studies, Education, or related field
- Proven teaching experience in CRS at the primary or secondary school level is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian educational curriculum
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Must reside in or be willing to work within Ipaja, Lagos, or its environs
