About the Role
WTS Energy is a leading manpower supply and consultancy company serving the international oil, gas, and energy industry globally. We are currently seeking a dedicated Crewing Coordinator to join our operations in Nigeria. This role requires a deep understanding of marine crewing requirements, vessel compliance standards, and the certification frameworks necessary to safely mobilize marine and offshore personnel worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and monitor comprehensive crew certification records and competency matrices ensuring full compliance with STCW requirements.
- Verify crew suitability based on vessel types, specific client demands, flag state regulations, and operational scopes.
- Coordinate international crew mobilizations, rotations, travel logistics, visas, medicals, and onboarding documentation.
- Proactively track certificate validity and expiry dates, arranging timely training, assessments, and renewals with approved maritime providers.
- Ensure all crew documentation and digital databases remain audit-ready and compliant with international maritime standards at all times.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in marine crewing, offshore personnel coordination, or marine operations support.
- Strong practical knowledge of STCW compliance, CoC structures, flag state requirements, and offshore certifications including BOSIET, HUET, and OGUK Medical.
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to manage multiple crew records and prevent compliance gaps proactively.
- Familiarity with marine crewing systems, HR platforms, document management software, and advanced Excel trackers.
- Previous working background within offshore, subsea, marine, or energy sectors is strongly preferred.
