We are currently looking for a diligent Credit Reviewer who is a fluent Hausa speaker to join our dynamic risk management team in Nigeria.
In this role, you will play a vital part in evaluating credit applications and determining the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses. You will ensure that all lending decisions align strictly with company policies, risk appetite, and regulatory guidelines, helping us maintain a healthy financial portfolio while expanding financial inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and process a high volume of credit applications efficiently.
- Assess financial risk and recommend approval, denial, or modification of credit terms.
- Verify the authenticity and accuracy of all submitted customer documentation and financial data.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing credit findings and risk evaluations.
- Ensure full compliance with internal credit policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Leverage Hausa language proficiency to effectively review regional documentation and support specific customer segments.
- Minimum of an NCE certificate, with higher educational qualifications considered a strong advantage.
- Must be completely fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in Hausa.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with credit analysis, loan processing, or financial review is an added plus.
