We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Credit Reviewer with fluency in Hausa to join our growing risk management team.
Key Responsibilities- Review, assess, and analyze credit applications from individuals and businesses to determine creditworthiness.
- Evaluate financial risk and recommend the approval, denial, or modification of credit terms based on company policies.
- Verify the authenticity and accuracy of all submitted customer documentation and financial records.
- Communicate effectively with Hausa-speaking customers and stakeholders to clarify application details when necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing credit findings and risk assessments for management review.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal credit policies, risk standards, and relevant regulatory guidelines in the Nigerian financial sector.
- Minimum of an NCE certificate, with higher educational qualifications in finance, accounting, or business considered a strong plus.
- Mandatory fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in Hausa.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with credit analysis, loan processing, or financial review in a fintech or banking setting is an advantage.
