About the Role

Uni-Medical Healthcare Ltd Nigeria, a trusted subsidiary of Unigloves Singapore and UG Healthcare Corporation, is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Credit Control Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Lagos. As a leading global manufacturer and distributor of high-quality disposable medical and cross-infection control products, we supply over 1.3 billion gloves annually across more than 10 countries. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our complete credit control lifecycle, ensuring optimal cash flow, rigorous risk assessment, and the maintenance of healthy client relationships across our expanding Nigerian operations located in Amuwo Odofin Industrial Estate, Lagos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full credit control cycle including debt collection, receivables management, and timely cash allocation.
  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and evaluations for new and existing corporate clients.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and implement structured debt recovery strategies to minimize bad debts.
  • Reconcile complex customer accounts and resolve billing or payment discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients to encourage prompt payments while preserving customer goodwill.
  • Generate accurate aging reports and financial forecasts for senior management review.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven professional experience in credit control, debt recovery, or receivables management.
  • Industry experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics sector is a distinct advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Active professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is strictly required.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills with strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
