Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, interactive, and curriculum-compliant English language and literature lessons to students.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to learners and parents.
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation and inquiry-based learning.
  • Design and administer quizzes, tests, and examinations in line with school assessment policies.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Mentor students and guide them in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A), or B.Sc in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching certification such as TRCN is a strong advantage.
  • Proven professional experience teaching English within a structured school environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an articulate command of the English language.
  • Strong classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about youth development with a patient and empathetic approach to teaching.
