Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured History lessons to secondary school students in accordance with the Nigerian and British curricula.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to monitor student progress and academic growth.
- Encourage interactive classroom discussions, critical analysis of historical sources, and active student participation.
- Assess and grade student assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, school events, and continuous professional development programs.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in History, or a related field with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of historical concepts, contemporary teaching methodologies, and curriculum standards.
