About the Role
Join Dominion Merchants & Partners International Ltd as a Credit and Deposit Mobilizer Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in expanding our lending portfolio and deposit base. This strategic position combines credit origination with customer acquisition, enabling you to directly impact our financial institution's growth across Nigeria and beyond.
Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Mobilization:
- Source, evaluate, and onboard prospective borrowers including individuals, public servants, paramilitary personnel, and government agencies
- Conduct comprehensive field visits and community engagement activities to identify creditworthy clients
- Perform detailed financial assessments, background checks, and credit evaluations
- Analyze repayment capacity, income streams, and credit history
- Prepare thorough credit appraisal reports with actionable recommendations
- Support loan documentation, verification, and disbursement processes
Deposit Mobilization:
- Monitor deposit performance and track targets, leads, conversions, and renewals
- Actively recruit clients, register accounts, and promote deposit products
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for enhanced satisfaction and retention
- Develop strategies to attract fixed deposits, savings, and liability products
- Proven experience in credit assessment, loan origination, or banking operations
- Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Client relationship management experience
- Knowledge of Nigerian banking regulations
