About the Role
OmniRetail is a unified consumer goods distribution platform that improves the inefficiencies of traditional trade by digitising key stakeholders through its stellar products, including OmniBiz, Mplify, and our embedded finance solution, OmniPay. We are looking for a dedicated Credit Analyst to help us build a robust credit function that scales seamlessly without compromising portfolio health.
Key Responsibilities- Assess distributor creditworthiness by evaluating bank statements, cash flows, collateral, and repayment capacity.
- Monitor overall portfolio health closely by vintage rather than relying solely on blended NPL numbers.
- Identify early warning signals and risk indicators before accounts transition into delinquency.
- Review limit increases and account reactivations with the exact same rigor applied to new applications.
- Help translate sound underwriting judgment into our automated credit-scoring engine.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience in credit analysis, SME or retail lending, or microfinance.
- Strong, demonstrated proficiency in bank statement analysis and cash flow evaluation.
- High comfort level working with large transaction datasets using Excel, with SQL being a strong plus.
- Uncompromising professional judgment to decline high-risk applications under commercial pressure and the ability to explain decisions clearly.
