About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Analytics Analyst to work closely with our core team, driving the data-backed insights behind key commercial and strategic decisions. This role offers hands-on exposure to international shipping, maritime investment, and cutting-edge financial modelling enhanced by modern artificial intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain robust financial and analytical models supporting vessel sales, purchases, financing, refinancing, profit-sharing agreements, and new technology investments.
  • Leverage AI tools for data gathering, formula drafting, scenario testing, and result summarization while rigorously validating outputs for absolute accuracy.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets from internal systems, market sources, and industry databases to generate actionable business intelligence.
  • Automate routine data preparation and reporting workflows using modern low-code and AI-assisted tools.
  • Prepare clear, executive-ready presentations and summaries for senior management and key internal stakeholders.
  • Support commercial projects by reviewing term sheets, tracking deadlines, and coordinating cross-functional team efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional analytical or financial modelling experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with superior numerical and data interpretation skills.
  • Demonstrated practical experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot for analysis, alongside strong judgment to verify AI-assisted work.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, a curious can-do attitude, and a strong commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, coupled with a keen interest in maritime shipping and commodities markets.
