We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Creche Attendant to join our team in Nigeria, ensuring that working parents have peace of mind knowing their little ones are in safe, capable hands throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, nurture, and care for infants and toddlers throughout the workday with utmost dedication and attention.
- Feed children, change diapers, and maintain high standards of personal hygiene for all infants in the facility.
- Plan and organize stimulating, age-appropriate play and early learning activities to foster cognitive and motor development.
- Maintain a clean, safe, sanitized, and well-organized creche environment that adheres to strict child safeguarding protocols.
- Monitor the health and well-being of each child closely, promptly reporting any concerns or injuries to management and parents.
- Keep accurate daily attendance registers and individual care logs for every child.
- Communicate professionally and warmly with parents regarding their children's daily progress and well-being.
- Comply strictly with all health, safety, and emergency response procedures within the facility.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or a recognized certification in Early Childhood Education or related childcare fields.
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience working in a creche, nursery, daycare, or structured childcare setting.
- Strong foundational knowledge of child development milestones and best practices in infant care.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills in English.
- Naturally patient, compassionate, highly trustworthy, and dependable.
- High level of emotional maturity, professionalism, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding families.
