About the Role
Matrix International Academy, a leading private educational institution in Gombe State, Nigeria, is recruiting a passionate and innovative Creative/Cultural Arts Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Deliver creative and cultural arts instruction to students across Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school levels
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that promote artistic expression and cultural awareness
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback aligned with both Nigerian and British curricula
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate arts across the broader curriculum
- Organize and facilitate cultural events, exhibitions, and artistic performances
- Maintain detailed records of student achievement and development
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed), Science (B.Sc), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant subject
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Creative/Cultural Arts or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional teaching experience (preferred)
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven classroom management expertise and ability to engage diverse learners
- Passion for cultural arts and commitment to student development
