Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all crane-related operations and lifting activities on-site to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and company operating procedures.
  • Conduct thorough pre-lift assessments, risk evaluations, and toolbox talks with the rigging and lifting crew.
  • Inspect lifting equipment, cranes, and accessories regularly to guarantee they are in optimal working condition.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and safety personnel to plan complex lifting schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to crane operators, riggers, and signalmen during operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all lifting operations, equipment maintenance logs, and safety audits.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in crane operations, rigging, and lifting supervision within the engineering or construction sector.
  • Valid certification and licensing as a Crane Supervisor or Appointed Person for lifting operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations, crane capacity charts, and rigging techniques.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Proven track record of managing lifting teams and executing complex lifts safely in industrial environments.
  • Relevant technical or engineering background will be an added advantage.
