Key Responsibilities- Oversee all crane-related operations and lifting activities on-site to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and company operating procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-lift assessments, risk evaluations, and toolbox talks with the rigging and lifting crew.
- Inspect lifting equipment, cranes, and accessories regularly to guarantee they are in optimal working condition.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and safety personnel to plan complex lifting schedules.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to crane operators, riggers, and signalmen during operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all lifting operations, equipment maintenance logs, and safety audits.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in crane operations, rigging, and lifting supervision within the engineering or construction sector.
- Valid certification and licensing as a Crane Supervisor or Appointed Person for lifting operations.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations, crane capacity charts, and rigging techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Proven track record of managing lifting teams and executing complex lifts safely in industrial environments.
- Relevant technical or engineering background will be an added advantage.
