About the Role
CWG Engineering Limited is a wholly employee-owned engineering consulting practice specializing in 3D laser scanning, engineering design, manpower supply, and project management throughout Nigeria. We are currently looking for a skilled Crane Auto Electrician to ensure the optimal performance and electrical safety of our heavy machinery operations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose complex electrical faults and malfunctions in cranes and heavy lifting equipment.
- Repair, replace, and maintain damaged wiring harnesses, circuit breakers, switches, and electrical components.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment electrical systems to minimize operational downtime.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using specialized testing equipment and multimeters.
- Collaborate with the mechanical maintenance team to troubleshoot integrated electro-mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of all electrical repairs, servicing schedules, and parts replacements.
- Proven professional experience working as an Auto Electrician specializing in cranes and heavy-duty machinery.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment electrical and electronic control systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Relevant technical certification, trade test certificate, or engineering degree.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to strict safety protocols in industrial environments.
