About the Role
DP World is seeking a visionary and results-driven Country Manager for Integrated Commercial Solutions to lead our dynamic operations in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will provide overall leadership for the country cluster, ensuring seamless alignment with regional and global business objectives while overseeing commercial performance, regulatory compliance, financial management, supply chain effectiveness, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute country and cluster strategies aligned to regional and global business goals, driving market penetration and expansion initiatives.
- Assume total accountability for country and cluster P&L performance, managing budgets, operating expenses, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Drive commercial excellence by working closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize product portfolio performance and customer engagement strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies while building strong relationships with key stakeholders and authorities.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to guarantee uninterrupted product availability, efficient inventory management, and minimized stock-out risks.
- Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing in-country team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related sectors, with a proven record of high performance.
- At least 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare market access dynamics, regulatory environments, and P&L management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, influencing, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
