About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Country HR Manager to provide strategic and operational HR support across the country.
In this vital leadership role, you will act as a strategic HR Business Partner, aligning people operations with organizational goals. You will oversee the complete employee lifecycle, champion employee engagement initiatives, drive performance management, and ensure strict compliance with local labour laws and statutory regulations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
- Drive the performance management cycle, support probation reviews, and guide managers through effective Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Partner with leadership to interpret HR policies, foster a positive workplace culture, and resolve employee relations issues promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian employment laws, labour regulations, and statutory requirements while maintaining accurate HRMS data.
- Oversee outsourced personnel, coordinate payroll inputs, and manage relationships with relevant labour representatives.
- Identify learning and development needs, coordinating targeted training programs to boost overall workforce productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field; professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) are strongly preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record in Business HR, Regional HR, or senior HR leadership roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and outsourced workforce administration.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with high emotional intelligence.
