About the Role

Resolve to Save Lives is seeking a visionary and strategic Country Director to lead our operations in Nigeria. In this executive role, you will serve as our senior-most representative, driving impactful public health initiatives in cardiovascular disease prevention and epidemic preparedness. You will bridge global strategies with local contexts, fostering robust partnerships with federal and state governments, multilateral organizations, and civil society to deliver sustainable health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and periodic review of the country strategy, aligning local public health needs with global organizational missions.
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with key government officials, National Public Health Agencies, donors, and implementing partners.
  • Provide comprehensive leadership over an integrated portfolio encompassing cardiovascular health, primary healthcare, and epidemic preparedness.
  • Hold direct accountability for financial performance, legal compliance, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence within RTSL Nigeria.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a diverse, multidisciplinary team, fostering an inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Serve as the principal management liaison to the RTSL Nigeria Board, ensuring strong corporate governance and strategic alignment.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Medicine, Health Policy, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in global health, international development, or public administration.
  • At least 7 years in a senior executive role leading complex, multidisciplinary country portfolios or large-scale programs.
  • Proven track record of high-level government engagement, resource mobilization, and strategic partnership development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial stewardship, enterprise risk management, and organizational governance.
  • Exceptional leadership profile showcasing resilience, collaborative management, and an organization-first mindset.
