About the Role
Global Organics Ltd has been a pioneer in Nigeria's pharmaceutical sector, famously launching products like Paragol first in the country. Reimagining our vision for growth, we are expanding aggressively into local manufacturing of both pharmaceuticals and veterinary drugs. We are currently seeking an experienced, commercially driven Costing Officer to join our dynamic Finance team in Lagos and play a pivotal role in our financial success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate product and production costings across manufacturing lines.
- Analyse material, labour, overhead, and overall production costs meticulously.
- Monitor and investigate cost variances to ensure financial control.
- Prepare comprehensive costing reports to support strategic pricing and profitability decisions.
- Analyse product margins and actively identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor inventory valuation and production costs in alignment with company standards.
- Provide actionable costing insights to Management, Finance, Procurement, and Production teams.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in costing, management accounting, or financial analysis.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proven experience using ERP and modern accounting software.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Competitive gross monthly salary of NGN 350,000 to NGN 450,000.
