About the Role
First Bank of Nigeria Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Continuity Management (Business Continuity Management) Relationship Manager to join our esteemed institution. In this role, you will work closely with the Unit Head, Business Continuity Management, to develop, implement, maintain, and test comprehensive business continuity programs. You will serve as the primary focal point for designated Strategic Business Units, branches, and regional offices, ensuring seamless crisis management, operational resilience, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 22301.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate business continuity planning efforts across head office departments, units, and regional branches.
Conduct comprehensive Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and organization-wide risk assessments to identify critical operations and potential threats.
Proactively engage and support business units in the prompt preparation, periodic update, and execution of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Develop and execute maintenance and testing programs for business plans, communication tools, and recovery strategies.
Design, coordinate, and facilitate staff training sessions, awareness campaigns, and simulation exercises for Business Continuity Management and Operational Risk Management.
Provide regular visibility, reporting, and recommendations to the Crisis Management Committee and relevant steering committees.
QualificationsFirst degree in a numerate discipline; higher degrees, MBAs, or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years of cognate experience in operational risk management and banking operations.
Deep understanding of banking structures, core business processes, disaster management, and process analysis.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, and supervisory skills with a proactive, self-driven mindset.
