Key Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive cost estimates, estimate oversight, and quality assurance reviews for company-operated and builder-operator milestones.
  • Prepare independent check estimates and schedules to rigorously evaluate and compare operator-prepared submittals.
  • Maintain strict change control procedures, detailed cost reports, and accurate project documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with project estimators, planners, schedulers, and client accounting personnel to align financial objectives.
  • Coordinate and assemble comprehensive monthly progress reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Partner with client project managers and team leads to fulfill regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements.
  • Participate actively in estimating group process efficiency initiatives and continuous quality assurance improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience within the oil and gas sector.
  • Extensive and demonstrable experience in a closely related cost engineering or project controls position.
  • Advanced-level proficiency in cost estimating, project planning, and project controls methodologies.
  • Strong negotiating, influencing, consulting, mentoring, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with the capacity to manage cross-functional activities.
  • Proven adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
