About the Role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of high-quality onshore and offshore engineering and supply services to the oil and gas sector across Nigeria and the broader West African sub-region. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer III to join our expanding engineering team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in driving project success by ensuring precise financial oversight, meticulous scheduling, and comprehensive project controls across all project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities- Support comprehensive cost estimate preparation and conduct rigorous quality assurance reviews for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Prepare independent check estimates and detailed project schedules for accurate comparison against operator-prepared submissions.
- Participate actively in project cost and schedule assessments to identify potential variances and optimization opportunities.
- Maintain robust change control procedures and generate accurate, timely cost reports.
- Collaborate closely with internal project estimators, planners, schedulers, and client accounting teams to align project objectives.
- Coordinate, compile, and present comprehensive monthly progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Partner directly with the client project manager and team leads to ensure seamless execution of accounting and reporting requirements.
- Contribute actively to continuous improvements in estimating processes, efficiency tools, and quality assurance practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience in a related technical discipline.
- Extensive proven experience in a closely related Cost Estimating, Project Planning, or Project Controls position.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard cost estimating, project planning, and project controls methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in the oil and gas industry with a strong understanding of sector-specific project milestones.
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster strong cross-functional relationships.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and coordination skills to manage complex, multi-stakeholder activities effectively.
