About the Role
PepsiCo, Inc., a global leader in convenient foods and beverages, is seeking a results-driven and analytical Cost & Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Nigeria. In this role, you will partner closely with operational and financial managers to deliver robust financial reporting, ensure strict compliance with internal controls, and provide strategic insights that support our long-term business objectives within the competitive FMCG landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to perform complex financial analysis and summarize critical business data.
- Review Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for reasonability, conduct in-depth SKU analysis across P&L buckets, and perform standard costing runs.
- Develop advanced financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools to identify emerging business risks and growth opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, income statement variance analyses, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory regulatory remittances, filings, and compliance with group reporting standards including HFM reporting.
- Execute payroll reconciliations, personnel remittances, and proper CAPEX accounting in alignment with corporate standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business discipline.
- Active professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIMA.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) within the FMCG sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and advanced data analytics.
