About the Role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of top-tier onshore and offshore engineering and supply services to the oil and gas sector across Nigeria and the wider West African region. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Cost Estimating Lead III to join our esteemed engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will provide critical oversight for cost estimate preparation, rigorous quality assurance reviews, project costing, scheduling, and overall cost-control activities across all project milestones. You will also collaborate with leadership to drive continuous process improvements while mentoring estimating personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate seamlessly with the Project Management Team to resolve complex project-related issues and ensure alignment on financial goals.
- Participate actively in project meetings and high-level discussions with both internal cross-functional teams and external clients.
- Prepare, analyze, and review comprehensive project costing and financial reports for executive management.
- Provide expert cost control, scheduling, and planning advice to the Project Management Team.
- Support detailed cost estimate preparation, meticulous verification, and comprehensive quality assurance reviews.
- Contribute proactively to ongoing enhancements in estimating processes, proprietary tools, and quality assurance practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is strictly required for this position.
- Demonstrated previous experience in a closely related role, specifically within cost and schedule estimating in the energy sector.
- Mandatory previous working experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong proficiency in project cost planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and advanced reporting.
