About the Role
VendorCredit is a leading financial services provider dedicated to supporting supply chain vendors and businesses in their growth and success. We are currently seeking a strategic and analytical Corporate Finance Manager to oversee corporate financial planning, treasury management, and liquidity functions while ensuring effective fund utilization and risk mitigation in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain strategic relationships with financial partners, including banks, finance houses, and cooperatives.
- Oversee liquidity, exposure, and leverage management while optimizing transaction costs and evaluating the cost of funds.
- Monitor FX liquidity exposure, set trigger points to mitigate currency devaluation risks, and handle excess liquidity investments.
- Originate deals for fundraising efforts, prepare supporting documentation, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash flows, minimize financial risks, and manage interest rate exposures.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly financial reports, oversee bank reconciliations, and incorporate macroeconomic data into strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- Master's degree or professional certification such as CFA, ACA, or ACCA is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, treasury management, or related roles within banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, macroeconomic analysis, risk management practices, and financial regulations.
