About the Role

We are currently looking for driven professionals to fill the role of Account Officer at our Surulere, Lagos office, where you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial health and supporting our continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update accurate accounting records and financial files in compliance with company policies.
- Examine bank statements and perform regular reconciliations with general ledger entries.
- Prepare detailed expense reports, analyze budgets, and review employee expense claims.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports for senior stakeholders.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes efficiently.
- Ensure the timely processing of payments and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Assist internal and external audit teams during periodic audit exercises.
- Collaborate with the finance department on forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience working as an Account Officer or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and popular accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian tax regulations and general accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work on alternate Saturdays.
- Candidates residing within Surulere and its immediate environs will be given preference.
