About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and experienced Coordinator, Managed Care Services to join our team in Port Harcourt. In this strategic role, you will lead the hospital's managed-care function, owning the critical interface with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and retainership schemes. You will ensure that enrolee service, claims, and authorization processes consistently deliver both high-quality patient care and long-term commercial sustainability for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the hospital's managed-care operations and proactively manage relationships with HMO and retainership partners.
  • Oversee enrolee verification, pre-authorization, referrals, and care management within established scheme terms.
  • Manage claims preparation, submission, reconciliation, and follow-up to minimize rejections and processing delays.
  • Monitor service-level agreements and lead effective resolution of disputes with scheme partners.
  • Coordinate closely with clinical teams to ensure patient care remains evidence-based, cost-effective, and compliant with scheme rules.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop managed-care, clinical support, and customer experience staff.
  • Track managed-care performance and revenue streams, reporting findings alongside actionable improvement recommendations.
  • Champion the enrolee experience, timely complaints resolution, and patient retention across the entire function.

Qualifications
  • A relevant first degree in health sciences, nursing, public health, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Successful completion of the mandatory NYSC program or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in managed care, HMO liaison, or healthcare administration, including proven supervisory experience.
  • Substantial expertise in health insurance, HMO operations, and hospital revenue-cycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge clinical requirements and commercial objectives in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Strong command of claims coordination, authorization workflows, and partnership management.
