As a Cook at Matrix International Academy, you will play a vital role in providing safe, nutritious, and appetizing meals that support student development and wellbeing. You will work in a modern kitchen facility, collaborating with colleagues to maintain the highest standards of food preparation, hygiene, and nutritional excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook balanced, nutritious meals for students across multiple age groups
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Plan and execute diverse menus that cater to varying dietary requirements and preferences
- Manage kitchen inventory, stock rotation, and food procurement coordination
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other school departments
- Ensure compliance with school policies and food handling regulations
- Proven culinary experience in institutional or commercial food service
- Certificate or training in food preparation and safety (advantageous)
- Excellent understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Computer literacy is an advantage
