Tojum Hospitality is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited, for a talented and dedicated Cook to join their vibrant kitchen team in Ibadan, Oyo State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering delightful culinary experiences to our guests, ensuring every meal meets our strict standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a wide variety of local and continental dishes in accordance with established recipes and portion standards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized workstation, including refrigerators and cooking equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inspect food items, ingredients, and supplies to ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth and timely food service operations.
- Manage food inventory levels, minimize waste, and assist in menu planning or special event preparations as required.
- Proven professional cooking experience in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or lounge setting.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen safety, and food sanitation standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-player attitude.
