Located in the heart of Yaba, Lagos, we are a welcoming community hub designed for both solo diners and groups looking for great food in an unhurried, comfortable space. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team and help us consistently delight our guests with delicious, high-quality meals.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a wide variety of local and contemporary dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are maintained across all kitchen and food preparation stations at all times.
- Manage inventory, monitor food stock levels, and minimize wastage during daily food preparation and cooking processes.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth and timely food service delivery.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.
- Possess relevant culinary qualifications, certifications, or vocational training from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated professional experience working as a cook in a busy restaurant, catering outfit, or hospitality establishment.
- Strong knowledge of local Nigerian cuisines, food safety standards, and modern kitchen operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and food presentation quality.
