About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and decisive Control Officer to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will serve as the central hub of our security network, overseeing real-time operations and ensuring absolute safety and accountability across all deployed sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor live CCTV feeds, GPS vehicle tracking systems, and communication channels to oversee real-time security operations.
  • Maintain constant radio and telephone contact with patrol teams, field guards, and supervisors.
  • Log and respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and distress calls, escalating emergencies to management or appropriate authorities.
  • Coordinate the deployment and movement of patrol vehicles and personnel across various client locations.
  • Maintain accurate shift logs, comprehensive incident reports, and up-to-date attendance records for all field staff.
  • Conduct routine call-outs and checks to confirm that guards are alert and properly stationed.
  • Prepare and submit detailed shift handover reports and daily operational summaries to management.
  • Collaborate with the operations department to dispatch patrol teams and resolve staffing gaps immediately.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in any relevant discipline; a background in security studies or criminology is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a security control room, dispatch, or operations role is mandatory.
  • Prior working experience within the Nigerian private security industry is highly desirable.
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional radio and phone etiquette.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CCTV and GPS tracking software.
