We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Contracts Advisor III to join our procurement and commercial team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our contracting strategies, ensuring optimal contractor performance, and driving commercial excellence across our ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support comprehensive contracting strategies, procurement plans, ITT packages, and competitive tender processes.
  • Lead and support high-stakes commercial negotiations and formulate robust contract award recommendations.
  • Manage end-to-end contract administration, contractor performance tracking, and meticulous commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate contract modifications, amendments, change orders, and vital subcontracting activities.
  • Support accurate invoicing, streamlined payment processes, proactive claims avoidance, and professional contractual correspondence.
  • Develop and execute efficient contract close-out activities and the final settlement of all outstanding commercial matters.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is strongly preferred; relevant commercial or legal disciplines will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in Contracts Engineering, Procurement, or Administration within the energy or related heavy industry.
  • Proven expertise in leading successful commercial negotiations, contractor management, and comprehensive contract administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of project execution methodologies and advanced contracting principles.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, APICS, or PMP will be a distinct advantage.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel or relocate to domestic or international project sites as required.
