About the Role
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, a prominent independent Nigerian energy firm following the acquisition of SPDC, is looking for a strategic Contracting & Procurement Lead. In this role, you will manage the complete supply chain process—from pre-award strategies and tender execution to post-award contract management—while supporting our Goal Zero safety aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercially competitive contracting and procurement strategies for key spend categories.
- Conduct tenders, evaluate bids, and lead negotiations with suppliers to drive organizational value and efficiency.
- Manage end-to-end post-award contract performance, fostering strong supplier relationships focused on HSSE, cost, and operational metrics.
- Challenge business demand constructively and identify innovative procurement solutions aligned with market realities.
- Ensure strict compliance with non-negotiable standards including safety, ethics, and code of conduct.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of dedicated contracting and procurement experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial acumen, tender management, contract negotiation, and post-award administration.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills suited for a diverse environment.
- MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification is an added advantage.
