About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services, dedicated to helping critical industries streamline operations, mitigate risks, and achieve project excellence. We are currently expanding our dynamic team and looking for three skilled professionals to join us as Contract Engineers on a contract basis in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your technical expertise and commercial acumen to manage complex contracts, guide technical performance, and support our strategic objectives in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Generate comprehensive contracts and provide expert technical performance guidance across various projects.
- Author, structure, and issue formal contract agreements resulting from external market tenders, internal sourcing, or approved single-source justifications.
- Develop and maintain a centralized, up-to-date database for Technical Evaluation Criteria.
- Interpret contract terms, liabilities, and indemnity clauses to ensure complete alignment with corporate risk governance policies.
- Secure contract extensions and variations for existing agreements while monitoring compliance.
- Provide expert guidance in budget forecasting, strategic planning, contract execution, and regulatory compliance oversight.
- Offer specialized expertise in and validation of enterprise analytical technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of combined office and field supervisory experience, preferably in complex oil and gas environments.
- Adequate training or hands-on experience related to well operations or oil and gas well interventions.
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, technical tender evaluations, and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) certification for field operations.
- CCMP (Certified Contract Management Practitioner) or other relevant professional certifications.
