About the Role
Premiere Royale International School and ICONS Comprehensive College, located in the vibrant heart of Ijapo Estate, Akure, are seeking a creative and driven Content Creator and Social Media Manager to join our esteemed educational community. In this role, you will be the digital voice of our institution, capturing the unique blend of academic rigor, digital learning, and vocational skill-building that defines our nursery, primary, and secondary arms. You will craft compelling stories, manage our online platforms, and engage prospective parents, students, and the wider community across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Create engaging, high-quality multimedia content, including professional photographs, videos, graphics, and compelling copywriting highlighting school events, academic milestones, and vocational programs.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and actively monitor online engagement, responding promptly to inquiries and comments from parents and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with school management and academic staff to document classroom activities, sports, cultural events, and preparation for national examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and UTME.
- Analyze social media metrics and web traffic to optimize digital campaigns and improve audience outreach.
- Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, particularly within the education sector in Nigeria.
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or in a similar digital marketing role.
- Strong proficiency in graphic design tools, video editing software, and content management systems.
- Exceptional copywriting, editing, and verbal communication skills in English.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate educational values into engaging visual content.
- Residency in Akure or willingness to work onsite at our Ijapo Estate campus.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, or a related field.
